Training is one of the most important things you can do for your dog. A well trained dog is able to spend more time with its owners and go more places. Because every dog is different, our trainers work with you to find out how to motivate your dog best. We teach you how to incorporate training into your everyday life and how to keep it fun for you and your dog.

Reactive Rover 1

This class is for dogs who are over reactive to other dogs on leash. The curriculum will focus on desensitizing your dog to his/her triggers so that those triggers are less anxiety inducing, as well as teaching your dog new coping behaviors to use during times of stress. Often times being the handler of a reactive dog is difficult and embarrassing, you will learn important handling skills to minimize the likelihood of your dog reacting. We will also go over how to read your dog's body language.

The first class is a mandatory orientation, some special equipment such as head halters may also be required.

Prerequisite: instructor permission required. Register for this class.
