Philosophy

Behave is dedicating to bridging the communication gap between dogs and their people. Our goal is to educate people on how to have better relationships with their pets. We use a variety of techniques employing rewards based training to help you achieve your training goals. We work with all breeds and temperaments of dogs and have extensive experience dealing with aggression and behavioral problems.

Our personal experiences and observations have taught us that while using force or intimidation can produce a good result in the instant, but the results rarely last. Worse still, training that uses physical punishment can result in a dog that is more fearful or aggressive in the long run. Our behavior modification programs don't employ pressure and force to stop the undesired behavior in the moment. Instead we focus on finding and treating the underlying causes for those behaviors.

Our belief is that a trainer's education is never complete. Our trainers regularly attend conferences, workshops, seminars and internships to keep up to date on the latest training techniques and in order to learn different training styles from a variety of instructors.
