Group Classes / Family Dog 2
5 week course for $150
Take your new skills to the next level. Our Family Dog 2 class teaches you to train your dog to have more reliable manners and obedience. The class will continue to challenge your dog's existing skills with increasing levels of distractions. Many students who complete this course are ready to test for their AKC Canine Good Citizen Certificate.
Prerequisite Family Dog 1 or instructor permission.
Skills covered include:
- Perfecting loose leash walking
- Walking through crowds
- Sitting by your side while you interact with other handlers with dogs
- Down maintains
- Coming when called around distractions
- Understanding when and how to phase out food rewards
- Using games and drive building activities to motivate your dog
